Minerals are as essential to your health as protein, fats or vitamins. In fact, proteins, fats and vitamins would not function or exist with out having a rich source of minerals. Minerals are not made by the body so they must be consumed in the foods and water we drink. Minerals also work as co-enzymes that “spark” or ignite most of the bodies regulatory systems. Minerals also form the bones of the body that are primarily composed of Calcium and Phosphorous. Our entire environment is regulated by minerals in a variety of energetic states. MINERALS ARE ESSENTIAL…

A vitamin and mineral are very different in structure, however, they both can function as enzymatic catalyst, mobilizing or activating the bodies organic systems. A vitamin is an organic(living) compound of plant or animal origin with a very complex molecular structure and specific metabolic purpose. A mineral is an inorganic element derived from rock, lava, soil or sand and are not considered living matter. Minerals are categorized as “Elements” or simple atoms such as Calcium, Potassium and Magnesium. They are listed on the Periodic Chart in Chemistry books in specific positions and order depending on their atomic weight and structure. Vitamins are dependent on minerals in their formation as well as in most of their biochemical reactions. Minerals are essential for the formation of all matter and are imperative for activation of most enzymatic systems that make the body function. Minerals are an essential ingredient for the making of all the energy that is created in a living cell.

There are thousands of mineral products available for the consumer to use. The key is to find a mineral product that can be easily absorbed and utilized by the cells of the body. Many of the mineral products are not well absorbed and some are even toxic. Classically, minerals have been taken as a pill in a powdered “metallic” form that is not well absorbed and not well utilized in cellular chemistry. Unfortunately, the body only absorbs 10 to 20 percent of the nutrients found in traditional pills and capsules according to the 1996 Physician’s Desk Reference(page 1542). About 30 years ago scientists learned how to chelate minerals to amino acids to increase absorption that was a great improvement and step forward in mineral utilization. However, the best way to take minerals or vitamins is in a liquid state according to the Physician’s Desk Reference. Liquid supplements are shown to have a 98% absorption rate that is literally 5 to 10 times that of standard pills or capsules.

Memory Minerals are plant derived minerals, in a colloidal/liquid solution. These minerals have been extracted from prehistoric humic shale, that was formerly ancient rain forest, estimated to be over 20 million years old. These plant source liquid minerals are concentrated “living minerals” that go to work immediately in cells throughout the body. The plant has the ability to convert the metallic/toxic minerals, that are in the soil, to highly energized mineral nutrients that harmonizes with the natural body chemistry. The prehistoric plant source minerals are also highly concentrated to effectively balance the massive mineral deficiencies that most humans have at this point in time.

The minerals that we obtain from a food or plant source are the most ideal way get proper mineral supply to our body. Unfortunately, the vegetables and fruits that are available for our modern day consumption lack most of the minerals needed for balanced cellular metabolism or life.
Memory Minerals have also been combined with a deep underground alkaline spring water that is very unique to this formula. These minerals are specifically formulated for cognitive function, memory and for those that simply want extraordinary health.

Macro Minerals are called “Macro Minerals” because the required dietary amounts are greater than 100 Milligrams per day. It has nothing to do with the size of the mineral. These macro minerals are calcium, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, chlorine, magnesium and sulfur.

Trace Minerals/Micro-minerals are needed in quantities of only a few milligrams or micrograms each day. These micro minerals include iron, copper, cobalt, zinc, manganese, iodine, molybdenum, selenium, fluorine and chromium. Although the essential micro-minerals consist of only a minute fraction of the total body weight compared to the macro-minerals, their function is needed to produce energy, in growth and maintenance of body tissue, and the regulation of body processed indispensable to life processes.

Calcium is required for bone growth and the growth and maintenance of most of the bodies tissues. It also regulates certain body functions that are imperative to normal body function. Calcium releases acetylcholine so that muscles can contract. Calcium ions are in the muscle fibers activating the troponin contractile mechanism. Calcium is necessary to activate the fat-splitting enzyme pancreatic lipase for digesting fats. Calcium must be in the cellular fluid before the pancreas can secrete insulin to process glucose.

We can get calcium from many sources: leafy green vegetables such a s broccoli, dairy products, canned salmon and sardines with bones. A high quality calcium supplement is recommended, in addition to Memory Minerals, to meet your specific metabolic needs.

The main function of Iron is in the formulation of Hemoglobin, which is the oxygen carrying red pigment in the blood. It is involved in respiration by being the main carrier vehicle for getting oxygen to all the cells in the body. Iron is in every living cell of the body but is found in largest amounts in the blood and liver. Iron is converted to hemoglobin in the liver with the help of copper, as an enzyme catalyst in the production and conversion of iron. While lack of enough iron in the diet is the basic cause of anemia, this condition can be caused by a copper deficiency as well.

Iron is available in food, with the “heme” iron from meat being the most bio-available. Heme is the iron-containing non-protein protion of the hemoglobin molecule, where the iron is in the ferrous(Fe 2+) state. Henceforth, when iron supplementation is clinically indicated, it will be utilized by the cells of the body if it is in the ferrous state. Iron supplementation should be approached with caution. Iron should not be taken by itself because can easily become toxic to the body. Iron is usually given as part of a multi-mineral/vitamin complex that contains B Vitamins, calcium, phosphorus and copper.
Memory Minerals are an excellent source of iron and as a plant derived form of the mineral it is very safe..
